This week’s guest is Lauri Badura. Lauri lost her first-born son, Archie, to a heroin overdose at age 19, just six years ago on May 15, 2014. In response to this tragic event, SOFA Inc. was formed –SAVING OTHERS FOR ARCHIE– with a goal to provide hope and resources at a county, state and federal level. Each year they have hosted a celebration to remember Archie, the Jump for Archie. What began as a small event has now grown into a massive effort to celebrate all the vast network of care providers and leaders working on the front lines against this epidemic.
This week’s topics are: 1) Virtual JUMP recap 2) new initiatives that they will be rolling out once Covid-19 lifts for Waukesha Co Drug court peer support summer fun with SOFA
