The Wisconsin Voices for Recovery Community Forum at Centro Hispano of Dane County in Madison on Wednesday April 20th at 6:30pm will provide speakers an opportunity to address key leaders, officials, and policymakers about the issues that are important to them. Our listening panel of policy makers includes State Senator Mark Miller, Captain Roman from the Madison Police Department, Todd Campbell, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services Manager at Dane County, Joyce Allen, Bureau Director of Division of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (DMHSAS), and other stakeholders.
The listening panel will hear directly from individuals in recovery, family members, and supporters about issues related to addiction and recovery that are impacting our community. After the testimonies, there will be discussion about key themes, overriding issues and possible solutions.
Through this event we hope to learn more about the recovery strengths and needs of the southern region of the state so we can all come together to better assist in being a part of the solution to these issues! To learn more and RSVP: please see our event page.
