Without the generous support of these sponsors, the Rally for Recovery would not be the valuable resource and recovery celebration that it is.
Please accept our heartfelt Thank You from everyone at Wisconsin Voices for Recovery and those affected by substance use around the state of Wisconsin!
Community Medical Services brings its innovative Opioid Treatment Programs to Alaska, Arizona, Indiana, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin. We are committed to helping patients suffering with substance-use disorders to heal with dignity and respect in a compassionate and judgement-free environment. We are excited to have opened Wisconsin’s first ever 24/7 opioid treatment center this year allowing patients more access to treatment, preventing barriers and helping fight the stigma against addiction.
The Great Lakes Addiction Technology Transfer Center (Great Lakes ATTC) is located at the UW – Madison Center for Health Enhancement Systems Studies. We are funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to help people and organizations implement effective practices for substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. OUR STORY: Just Listen Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization facilitating positive living programming and events in support of recovery/prevention of substance, crime and anything else that inhibits people from leading positive, fulfilling lives. Founded by Tina Perry, Just Listen has been servicing the men, women, and children of Ozaukee and surrounding counties since 2011. As an addict in long-term recovery and mother of a child in recovery, Tina recognized a shortage of resources conducive to lasting sobriety and created Just Listen. While the organization’s focus is community events, it has recently expanded its services to include certified recovery coaching, online and in person support groups, medication intervention training, emergency room support following an overdose and PharmCheck sweat patch monitoring. Every member of Just Listen’s recovery team and Board of Directors is comprised of individuals who are either in recovery or familiar with the devastation of addiction. The qualifications of their recovery coaches paired with their 80% retention rate of board members and volunteers demonstrate that the team is invested and committed to battling the substance abuse epidemic. Just Listen prides itself on welcoming all ages and walks of life with any issue, but its most prominent service encompasses those in recovery, on the road to recovery, and those affected by addiction.
As a Wisconsin-based nonprofit, we are dedicated to fighting the opioid and heroin epidemic throughout the United States. We accomplish this through education, prevention, awareness and rehabilitation.
What does prevention look like? It looks like us. We are a fully volunteer-based nonprofit, we build education, awareness and fundraising programs to drive much-needed dollars to fund a person into proper treatment for opioid and heroin addiction in Milwaukee, Winnebago, Dodge, Washington, Dane and surrounding Counties in Wisconsin. And as such, nearly 100% of the dollars we generate go directly to helping someone who suffers from the horrible disease of heroin or opioid addiction obtain the help they need.
