We are a Residential Treatment program for adults living with substance use disorder. Many of our clients also have co-occurring disorders and a history of trauma. Our goal is to help them move into recovery while also addressing their mental health and trauma issues using SAMSHA approved evidence-based practices.

Apricity provides those impacted by substance use disorders a full spectrum of care including treatment, employment and support services in a safe, progressive recovery community.

At Apricity, we believe there is no single path to treatment because there is no single path to substance use disorders. Everyone has unique struggles, needs, challenges, fears, triggers, and most importantly, dreams. We listen until we understand our clients in order to identify and initiate individual treatment options to help insure their success.

Our licensed mental health counselors specialize in co-occurring disorders. AODA counseling staff bring a wide range of personal experience in substance use disorders and recovery. The combination of education, expertise and empathy are critical components to creating an individualized solution for recovery.

Our focus is on our clients’ future. We help them recover their dignity and their sense of self, and ultimately get back to a daily routine equipped with healthy skills to deal with everyday life. We also offer additional treatment after inpatient ser

I have been advocating for prevention, education, and family support in regards to the disease of addiction for the past 8 years since my son CJ died of a heroin overdose in our home in 2012. I am Co-founder of the CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting individuals in their recovery program as well as providing support for friends and families touched by addiction.

My husband and I host a family meeting twice a month on Tuesdays. We are committed to emotionally supporting family members who have a loved one struggling with addiction. I assisted in a special project educating physicians at Froedtert Hospital on the dangers of over prescribing opiates. I have spoken at numerous heroin summits.I serve on the West Allis West Milwaukee Heroin Task Force.  I am a member of Wisconsin Family Voices of Recovery. I participated in Milwaukee County’s press conference in regards to the overdose rate in Milwaukee County. I have donated funds to assist many people seeking recovery. These funds were raised at our annual CJ Lomas Recovery Foundation Golf Outing.

My hope is to educate individuals on the progression and dangers of drugs in an effort to reduce the amount of deaths caused by this disease in hopes that another family does not have to bury their child like I did.

Stop Heroin Now was founded by Linda Lenz, who lost her son Tony to heroin. In addition to advocating and speaking to the public about addiction, the organization is designing and implementing educational curriculums for youth to educate about drugs and the life-long effects of use. Stop Heroin Now will be providing and funding services for addiction and recovery support by mentors, recovery coaches, addiction specialists, mental health specialists, AODA counselors, licensed professional counselors, and social workers to individuals and families. These efforts will be provided through insurance, income-based sliding scale, and scholarships and grants when available. Our goal is to provide support to any one who is willing to accept it
